The Federation of Somali Trade Unions (FESTU), in partnership with the United Nations under the Joint Programme on Human Rights (JPHR), implements a nationwide Labour Rights Education Programme to raise awareness and strengthen workers’ understanding of the newly amended Somali Labour Code.
These messages are designed to help women workers easily understand and claim their key rights under the newly enacted Labour Code. They are available in Somali languages (Maxaa Tiri and Maay) as well as in English, ensuring broad accessibility for workers across different communities.
