The Federation of Somali Trade Unions (FESTU), in partnership with the United Nations under the Joint Programme on Human Rights (JPHR), implements a nationwide Labour Rights Education Programme to raise awareness and strengthen workers’ understanding of the newly adopted Somali Labour Code.
These messages are designed to help workers with disabilities easily understand and claim their key rights under Somalia’s newly amended Labour Code. They are available in Somali (Maxaa Tiri and Maay) as well as in English, ensuring broad accessibility for workers with disabilities across the country, under the theme “Your legal rights cannot be signed away.”
